Kathleen Elliott has focused on developing horse riding skills in all disciplines and across many breeds throughout her 20 years as a professional trainer. Her comprehensive experience has assisted in making Western Dressage a natural fit for her interests and skills. Although, she does believe traditional English dressage plays a fundamental role, whether training jumpers, hunters, endurance or western pleasure riders.

Kathleen believes dressage training increases the rider and horse team’s ability to demonstrate attention to detail and precision when engaging in the full range of movements and gaits. Additionally, she has always had an affinity for working with young horses and developing their potential. Kathleen completed the Train the Trainers™ Western Dressage training course in Canada and she is also an approved riding instructor for ARIA.
